My interest in unusual hairstyles started when I was just five years old. My grandmother used to braid my hair with long, beautiful ribbons. Even though my hair only reached my shoulders, the ribbons extended braids to my waist. It made me feel incredibly happy! I’ve always dreamed of having long hair!

In 2002, I saw a girl on TV with a full head of long braids for the first time. That moment changed everything! I’ve got feeling I want the same hairstyle! In 2003, my dream came true. I got my first 150+ braids. I loved them so much that I kept getting them again and again in 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

As of 2013, my job in five-star hotels required me to follow strict grooming standards. I couldn’t have a unique hairstyle anymore. Around that time, I started seeing people online with amazing, colorful dreads. I wished I could have them too, but it wasn’t possible.

Now it’s 2025. I don’t work in hotels anymore. I can finally be myself again after so many years! My love for bold hairstyles never faded. It’s only grown stronger. A few years ago I also discovered a jewelry making. I still remember the moment I felt: “This is what I want to do with my life”!
I’ve combined my two passions – expressive hairstyles and unique jewelry.

My art is for people similar to me, who see bold hairstyles like colorful hair, dreads, braids, and locs as part of their identity.
